It’s been three months since Quin transferred to Patrol and discovered the terrifying truth about the community she lives in. Citizens of The Beck are disposable and those in charge are capable of terrible cruelty. Vowing to protect those around her, Quin has joined the Resistance. But she knows she is risking everything.

Rebellion of any kind must be secretive and clever. Gathering enough people to fight seems like an impossible task. When those closest to her are directly threatened, Quin knows she has to act. But time is running out. Governance will stop at nothing to protect the world it has worked to build. In the end, Quin must decide how far she is prepared to go to rescue the ones she loves.

Break is the second in the Flow series, which follows Quin as she struggles to carve out a future in the harsh regime she was born into.

Warning: contains violence and some upsetting scenes. Recommended for a 13+ audience.

After reading the first book, Flow and reviewing it on my blog, I was really excited to read the second book Break. Luckily I got the chance to and I loved it.

Quinn joins The Resistance, risking everything she works toward ever since she was fourteen Years Old, but staying silent with nothing to do is NOT an option anymore, especially when she learns what the government has in mind for her besties:Cass & Harper.

I felt like in this book Quin kinda stopped being as heroic compared to in the first book. It didn’t make me like her any less but it kinda annoyed me. Lets talk about Quin and Cameron! I love those two and I ship them so much. Sometimes they’re soooo frustrating though and I wish I could go in there and get them back on the right track again. In saying that, this only makes me love them more.

That Cliffhanger though, it ruined me! I was so heartbroken at the end and you should totally read it to find out. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next. I 100% recommend this book , especially if you loved the first one. Fair warning though, you will be left wanting more and impatiently waiting for the next installment!
